The legend returns this coming February 3-11! For decades, the world's largest outdoor consumer show has been a tradition for NRA Families all around Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. It's called The Great American Outdoor Show, and it celebrates the outdoor traditions we cherish in the Harrisburg Farm Complex, an enormous, 650,000-square-foot exhibit space that comprises nine halls. It's a gun show, yes, but it's so much more than that, with nearly 1,000 exhibitors that cover the gamut from boat and RV dealers, hunting and fishing retailers, more than 400 outfitters and boat captains from across the globe and much more.
Did we say "much more than a gun show"? That's because there are so many family-friendly activities on offer that it's easy to spend a whole day participating in them without once visiting a booth. Visitors can try testing their archery skills for prizes in the 3D Bowhunter Challenge, experience world-class fishing lessons from pro anglers at the 5,000-gallon Hawg Tank, check out the big-splashing Dock Dog challenge, and even meet their favorite celebrities and outdoor personalities. Families can also have fun learning important safety lessons at the Eddie Eagle Kids Zone.
Then there are the free educational opportunities. The 2024 Great American Outdoor Show will feature more than 200 seminars from leading outdoors experts, covering hunting, trapping, self-defense tactics and strategies, cooking with wild game, fishing tips from angling experts, and much more than we have room to describe here. Essentially, if you're entering the world of guns, hunting, hiking or boating from Square One, this is the place to gather the gear and expert advice you'll need.
Don't miss the 9th Annual NRA Country Concert at the Great American Outdoor Show, to be headlined by Warren Zeiders! The Hershey, Pennsylvania nativewill be rockin' the house on Saturday, February 10th at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center for a show celebrating our shared values and the outdoor lifestyle.
