Fathers and sons come in all sizes and personalities, but whether you're the "strong, silent" kind of dad or your son's best buddy, this all-new episode of Savage Journeys, “BONDING IN THE WILD,” is the video to fill your heart. The latest installment of Savage Arms’ Savage Journeys series, this episode explores the complex and emotional relationship between a man and his dad by telling the story of Marcus and Sean Gores. It follows the father and son duo as they head out on a once-in-a-lifetime hunt for Shiras Moose in Utah.

“BONDING IN THE WILD” unfolds against the backdrop of picturesque landscapes and family photo albums. Viewers can watch Marcus traverse a Utah mountain side while on the hunt for Shiras Moose. Throughout the journey, Marcus reflects on his initial introductions into hunting through his father Sean.

Both Gores recount how the shared moments of success and failure on hunts have culminated in countless incredible experiences as a family. From Marcus’s first big game hunting adventure in Africa at age 11, to his current work towards a Super Slam in Utah, this story shows how hunting can forge a lifelong connection to the outdoors across generations.

"'Bonding in the Wild' goes beyond the typical hunting narrative,” said Beth Shimanski, Director of Marketing at Savage Arms.” It emphasizes the importance of family, camaraderie and tradition. We’re proud to share a story of how one family’s connection to the outdoors brought them together, and we hope that it inspires others to do the same.”
