Gforce 12Hammer

It's true: Although the shotgun is hands-down the most versatile firearm platform, some semi-automatic shotguns are what we call "picky eaters." This is because they require a certain velocity from the ammunition in order to cycle the next round into the chamber. But GForce Arms' new 12-HAMMER cycles reliably with everything from light 7.5 shot loads, all the way up to 3" T-shot and steel. This scattergun, promises GForce, will eat whatever you feed it. Now that's versatility!

Here's how it works. The 12HAMMER uses a fully redesigned rear-driven gas piston system, which means you don't need high-powered ammo for smooth, consistent cycling. This doesn't mean an increase in felt recoil, though: The shotgun is equipped with a buffer tube configuration that ensures smooth recoil management. The shotgun's 8.4-lb. weight also devours recoil, while remaining manageable for quick handling.

The 12HAMMER features an 18.5-inch 4140 full-steel barrel that ensures durability, even under heavy use. The adjustable overall length, ranging from 31.1 inches to 48.2 inches, ensures that the 12HAMMER fits a variety of body sizes ... more versatility!

What's more, although the 12HAMMER is marketed as a home-defense shotgun, it absolutely can be used for hunting or clay games. The Benelli Mobil Choke System, paired with five factory chokes (CYL, IMP CYL, MOD, IMP MOD, and FULL), lets the shooter select the optimal choke for any given shooting environment. With a capacity of 5+1 and compatibility with both 2 3/4” and 3” shotgun shells, the 12HAMMER adapts effortlessly to various shooting preferences.

It's also every bit as tough on the inside as it looks on the outside. Crafted from a forged T6-7075 hardened aluminum upper receiver and a rugged polymer lower receiver, the 12HAMMER is built to endure even the harshest environments. The monoblock synthetic stock and forend provide additional resilience while reducing weight, while the anodized finish offers superior corrosion resistance, making it an excellent choice for prolonged use in tough conditions. In addition, the 12HAMMER is designed for easy maintenance, with a simple 2-pin locking system that enables quick-release disassembly of the upper and lower receivers, eliminating the need for specialized tools.

Naturally, the 12HAMMER offers an integrated Picatinny rail system that lets you easily mount accessories like lights, sights, and Quick-Disconnect mounts for dual or single-point slings. GForce also has a wide array of aftermarket accessories designed for the 12Hammer, purchasable on its website. MSRP $379; GForceArms.com.
