There's something almost magical happening at the 2018 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits' Pyramyd Air Air Gun Range: An activity we shooters normally call "turning money into noise" is taking place...except it's free. And actually quite quiet.

"So far, it's been splendid," stated range supervisor Michael Johns. "This is a terrific location, and people really seem to be enjoying themselves."

And no wonder! As always, Pyramyd Air supplied a wide variety of the air guns they offer for show attendees to shoot and enjoy. This year, however, folks are getting a sneak peak at a brand-new offering from Crosman called the DPMS. It's a full-auto BB gun, and the range officers are loading it with frangible BBs called Dust Devils. This allows shooters to, under the careful supervision of a Range Safety Officer, experience all of the "wow" factor of full auto without all the noise (or recoil, or ricochet concerns).

"So far, that's the big hit of the show," added Johns. "If you want to come shoot it or any of the other air guns we have here, the best time to avoid crowds is to stop by Ballroom C2 after the Exhibit Hall opens up until lunchtime, and then again after that's over."

Until later this summer, that's going to be an interested attendee's best bet to see the Crosman DPMS, as it won't be available to the public for a few more weeks. Of course, there are dozens of other awesome air guns to enjoy. Best yet, it's completely free for show attendees (although donations are certainly welcome).

We hope to see you there!
