When you were growing up, did your elementary-school teacher have you memorize the basic facts of each of the 50 states? Mine sure did: capital city, main industry, official state bird, official state motto, population...you name it. Now that I'm an adult, I consider myself lucky to remember a tenth of that information. Maybe it would have stuck with me better had I been a better student. Or maybe it would have been easier to remember if all I'd had to do was remember each state's official gun. As of right now, seven U.S. states have official firearms. Is yours one of them? If not, what gun would you choose to represent your state?

Read the list of official guns, as well as in-depth reviews of each, right here at the official site for our friends at American Rifleman.
