It's a joke we like to tell each other here at the NRA, but we frequently have to tell it pretty loudly. It's also great for female shooters, as our relatively long necks often require that we tuck our faces further down onto a gun's stock to see well through the sights or optic. (Sadly, earmuffs can sometimes make this difficult.)
