Savage Arms has been very busy moving into 2024! The latest update regards the venerable company's 555 Sporting and 555 Sporting Compact over/under shotguns. The 555 Sporting is now available in 20 GA and .410 Bore, with the 555 Sporting Compact now being offered in 12 Ga., 20 Ga. and .410. Savage is thrilled to offer these new additions to the over-under lineup that will add value to the sporting clays and trap leagues.

“We’re excited to bring even more to our over/under lineup,” said Beth Shimanski, Director of Marketing at Savage Arms. “The 555 Sporting and 555 Sporting Compact offer new features that will provide shooters with a competitive advantage, and the additional calibers offer even more variety for our Savage customer.”

The 555 Sporting and 555 Sporting Compact offer users a lightweight aluminum alloy receiver that is scaled to gauge and incorporates a steel insert that reinforces the breech–minimizing weight and maximizing strength.
