America's favorite heartland ammunition manufacturer, Hornady, has a truly ideal setup in Grand Island, Nebraska. There's just one problem: All those darn zombies. Every year, the undead rise from their restless sleep and shuffle towards HQ in search of brains. Hornady has chosen to handle this annual invasion with one of the world's most unique 3-Gun matches. It's called the Zombies in the Heartland 3-Gun Match, and this year it will happen May 31 – June 2, 2024, at the Heartland Public Shooting Park in Grand Island, NE.
With an unusual and challenging course of fire, Zombies in the Heartland attracts shooters from across the country. Shooters will find new and reactive targets developed specifically for this match, with most targets breaking, falling over, or moving. Participants will be required to compete with a pistol, rifle, and shotgun, or they can compete with a pistol-caliber carbine and shotgun in the PCC Division.
