More Silencers Please

Silencer Central has just broken ground on an all-new warehouse and distribution center next to its current headquarters building in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The massive new facility, encompassing 60,000 square feet, will serve as an indoor shooting range, research space and product distribution center. Complete with a totally automated warehousing system that can fulfill 2,000 (not a typo) orders per hour, the new building will also improve federal regulations compliance for the company and its customers alike.

“I am immensely proud of the hard work and dedication of our team,” said Brandon Maddox, Silencer Central CEO. “We recently celebrated a milestone of 100,000 suppressors shipped. Incredibly, by the end of 2024, we will have doubled that by shipping an additional 100,000 units, just this year. I am excited to see what the team can do with the added space and the technology we are building into the facility. In the end, it will greatly benefit our customers, which has been the goal all along – Making the process of buying a suppressor simple and easy.

When we set out to design the expansion, we knew that the level of technology we wanted and needed would be a first for South Dakota,” Maddox said. “I must admit, too, that I’m excited to see what we can do with the advanced R&D tools we are bringing in. It will allow ideas to go from the sketchpad to a working prototype in a fraction of the time.”

What's next for Silencer Central? Well, this new facility will free up thousands of square feet in the Silencer Central headquarters building, which Maddox expects to fill with new employees to help his company keep up with customer demand.
