Ethan Mayer's Late Season Dove Hunt

Last dove season I was hunting with my dad and didn't have much luck.  When we were walking back to the truck we were lucky. Our friend spotted a rattle snake in the path. My dad and I got loaded up with the 20 gauge, and I shot him in the belly. I shot again and missed. Then dad took over, and shot him in the head. It was great to know the feeling of taking my second rattler. I had a great time!-Ethan Mayer, age 8Tucson, Ariz.
