It's pronounced "sky," and so far, it seems that's the limit. When the SCCY DVG1 made its debut two years ago, America was instantly drawn to this sweet-shooting, wallet-friendly, striker-fired pistol. Two years and a global pandemic later, SCCY is bringing the DVG1 in all the colors of the sky ... not to mention a red-dot-ready configuration.

The SCCY DVG1 was (and remains) "an affordable defensive pistol that you can stake your life on," in the words of reviewer Frank Melloni. Now the same 10 plus one capacity compact carry pistol will also be available in all the popular colors that SCCY is recognized for.

SCCY is rolling the DVG1 out in pink, purple, SCCY blue (get it?), lime green, orange, crimson, white, flat dark earth, sniper gray and black. No matter which color frame you choose, all SCCY pistols are available with either a Black Nitride or stainless slide.

The best part is that the sighting system is now more versatile for you. The new red-dot-ready cut maintains the rear sight on the slide so customers who are thinking about adding an optic, or need more time to save up, can still use their pistol.

SCCY Marketing’s Chris Cerino said “We’ve moved the red dot cut forward, allowing us to maintain the rear iron sight on the slide. This allows time for the end-user to take time in choosing a preferred optic. Continuing with footprints of the past, the red-dot-ready DVG1 uses the Shield cut.” A polymer plate and screws fill the void for aesthetics until an optic is mounted.

MSRP $369-469, depending upon model chosen. SCCY.com
