I had never heard of GATORZ before that fateful SHOT Show Media Day at the Range 2019, but I was busily chiding myself for having failed to pack tinted eye protection ahead of time when the GATORZ booth appeared to my (squinting, watering) eyes. I was lucky enough to be gifted with a set of GATORZ Inferno eye pro that day, and I have worn those lenses every chance I've gotten since. SHOT Show 2022 brings GATORZ with all-new lens technology, designed to optimize your shooting experience ... and this is some gun gear I'm excited to try.

GATORZ calls it the High Contrast Shooting Lens, and it's available in both daylight and low light options. GATORZ' engineers developed a special formula using high-quality dyes that creates a powerful optical contrast and clarity against a variety of backgrounds. The lenses highlight reds and oranges, which is critical for clays shooters as well as for hunters who need to avoid other hunters.

Of course, these are shooting lenses, and as such they meeting or exceed ANSI Z87.1 (American National Standards Institute) requirements. Designed to handle the harshest conditions and protect your eyes from shooting-and-hunting-related hazards, GATORZ new High Contrast Shooting Lens also features
GATORZ’ hydrophobic, oleophobic and anti-fog coatings, which give the lenses the ability to repel water, prevent smudges and keep your view sharp and clear.

American-made, and backed by a lifetime warranty, GATORZ frames are built from lightweight, durable, aircraft-grade billet 7075-T6 aluminum and are designed to fit close to the face. Both the frame and the nosepiece fully adjust to you, and not the other way around. Offering popular styles for every shooter, the Shooting Lens is currently available in two of GATORZ’ durable aircraft-grade billet 7075-T6 aluminum frames: the Delta, and the Magnum. The Specter, and the Wraptor frames will be available in February 2022. MSRP $275-335; Gatorz.com
