If you are a proud NRA member or you love the Second Amendment and our rights as Americans, then attending the NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits is a must and something that should be added to your bucket list. Even if you’ve already attended in years past, there are always new reasons to plan a trip again, especially since it’s always in a new city worth exploring.

This year the NRA Annual Meetings will be in Indianapolis, Ind., April 26-28 and you won’t want to miss it. There are so many things to see and do that there is surely something to tickle everyone’s fancy…and if you can’t find something from this list that inspires you to want to plan your trip now, then I don’t know what will. So without further ado, here are the top five reasons to attend the NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits:

1. 15 Acres of Guns and Gear

The exhibition floor is in and of itself impressive for those who have never attended this huge of an event.  Simply lace up your comfiest shoes, as you’ll be doing a lot of walking. Spend the day exploring the latest offerings from “everyone who’s anyone” in the world of guns and hunting—as well as checking out the numerous outfitters that offer exclusive hunts. Additionally, you’ll have the chance to view priceless collections of firearms in the gun collector area. If you’re more into the outdoors you can head over to see an amazing array of knives, wildlife art, shooting accessories, hunting gear, ATVs and so much more.

2. List of Exclusive Seminars and Luncheons

If seminars are more your jam, then be sure to check out the list of exclusive seminars and luncheons being offered during the three-day event. With a range of topics and interests including the National NRA Foundation BBQ and Auction, NRA Foundation’s Annual National Firearms Law Seminar, Women’s Leadership Forum, Annual Meeting of Members and the National Prayer Breakfast there is sure to be something for everyone.

3. Appearances from Top National Political Leaders and Musical Superstars

Have you always wanted to meet the leaders of the NRA as well as the superstars who share the same principles as you? Then now is your chance to do so. With the NRA-ILA Leadership Forum featuring our nation’s top Second Amendment leaders in government, media and the entertainment, along with the Saturday Evening Celebration featuring Alan Jackson and special guest William Michael Morgan, your dreams can become reality. See some of America’s biggest names and best political minds while you soak up the unforgettable series of motivational and inspirational speeches they give.

4. Meet Like-Minded Individuals

There isn’t another event like this that brings tens of thousands of other Second Amendment patriots together all at one time. Last year, Dallas boasted a crowd of more than 87,000 Second Amendment supporters and NRA members. Join us this year in Indianapolis, and you’ll have the opportunity to talk and get to know others who share the same views as you. And why not bring someone you know who is interested in becoming a member so they can become part of the huge family that loves our freedoms? NRA members get in free and those who are not can sign up at the door.

5. Explore the City of Indianapolis

While attending one of the biggest and most popular shows in America to help promote your rights as an American, be sure to check out the surrounding area as well. Indianapolis has multiple attractions for the entire family including The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway where the Indy 500 takes place and several war memorial monuments paying homage to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
