Silencer Central's Brandon Maddox was honored with NRA Publications' prestigious Golden Bullseye Pioneer Award during a special breakfast at the 2024 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Dallas on May 17, 2024. This award recognizes Maddox's dedication, passion and advocacy in the firearms industry. That's not all; in addition to the Pioneer Award, Silencer Central's new Speed K suppressor was also recognized by NRA’s Shooting Illustrated magazine with the Suppressor of the Year Award.

Now-NRA Executive Vice President Doug Hamlin (then NRA Publications' Executive Director) presented Maddox with his awards.

The awards recognize and honor the finest products available in the shooting sports industry. Each year, a seven-member committee comprising editors, graphic designers and seasoned NRA Publications staff meticulously selects the winners.

The Speed K represents Silencer Central's commitment to innovation and excellence in providing top-of-the-line firearm suppressors. The BANISH Speed K was designed through a partnership with Federal Ammunition as the perfect suppressor for law enforcement agencies.

"Receiving the Golden Bullseye Pioneer Award and having our Speed K suppressor named Suppressor of the Year is a tremendous honor,” said Maddox. “It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire Silencer Central team. We remain committed to our mission of making the process of purchasing and owning suppressors as simple and accessible as possible."
