Nilo Open

There's still time to register for the 7th Annual NILO Open sporting clays competition, one of America's premier sporting clays events! This competition is set to take place on June 6 and 7, 2025 at NILO, the iconic Winchester hunting and shooting sports facility in Brighton, Illinois.

There's a $175 registration fee, which covers targets, ammunition, a gift bag, and a meal. It also puts you in line to win from an amazing gift table, with over $50,000 in prizes at stake. The competition is shot in five-person squads. (If you register as an individual, you'll be placed on one.) There's no qualifying match; the NILO Open hosts hundreds of clay target shooters of all skill levels.

The starting times are at 8 a.m. and noon. There are side games available, too, like Super Sporting, 5-Stand, and what's called "Flurry."

“The NILO Open continues to be one of the finest sporting clays competitions in the Midwest and is a great opportunity for families to experience the pristine grounds of NILO”, said Jason Gilbertson, Senior Director of Marketing for Winchester Ammunition. “NILO has a rich history of being a premier destination for hunting and shooting in the U.S. and we’re thrilled for everyone to experience this best-in-class event.”
