Who knew that an object weighing only 5 lbs. could make such a huge splash? (You did, that's who.)

Five pounds. That's how much freight you'll tote up the hill with the Savage 110 Ultralite Elite ... which leaves room for the weight of the animal you'll harvest and need to cart down the hill. How did Savage manage to drop this much weight (and length, but we'll get to that shortly)? By partnering with proven manufacturers to create the ultimate lightweight rifle.

This new-for-2024 bolt-action beauty sports a purpose-built PROOF Research barrel specific for this purpose-driven firearm, delivering a Savage-designed, carbon-fiber-wrapped stainless steel barrel. MDT, a leader in chassis systems and delivering value and accuracy to shooters, has its HNT26 folding carbon fiber stock on the 110 Ultralite Elite. The folding buttstock reduces the overall length by 9" when folded, and allows for ease of transport in the backcountry.

“The 110 Ultralite Elite represents a significant leap forward in our commitment to delivering cutting-edge and innovative firearms to our customers,” said Beth Shimanski, Director of Marketing at Savage Arms. “We are thrilled to partner with PROOF Research and MDT to create a firearm that combines exceptional accuracy and durability with a lightweight design. The 110 Ultralite Elite is built to match the conditions of any extreme outdoor trek and can provide hunters with a tool to tackle any big game pursuit.” MSRP: $3,299; SavageArms.com.
