If you're going to be a rising junior or senior in 2016or if you know a teen who isnow is the perfect time to get your application to the Youth Education Summit (Y.E.S.) ready! Y.E.S., which is a unique week-long adventure in citizenship sponsored by The NRA Foundation, is a terrific opportunity for outstanding teens to enjoy an expenses-paid trip to the Washington, D.C. area. Not only will attendees get an insider's tour of all the major sights and experiences of the nation's capital, they'll also have the opportunity to compete for $30,000 in scholarships.

The 2016 Y.E.S. is Monday, July 25 - Sunday, July 31 and applications are due on February 1, 2016. You must be a high school sophomore or junior to apply for Y.E.S. The application process requires submission of a completed application form, high school transcript, three-page essay on the Second Amendment, one-page personal statement, and three letters of recommendation, so get started this winter break!
