Dead Air Silencers and Ruger Firearms have teamed up for the first time, creating an exciting new category of suppressors: the RXD series. These two iconic manufacturers promise that the RXD line represents a ground-up innovation, designed to complement Ruger’s renowned firearm platforms with uncompromising performance, design, and maintainability. The lineup begins with two offerings: one for rimfire and small-caliber centerfires, and one for harder-hitting .30-caliber hunting and long-range applications.

They're not hard to tell apart. The one for small-caliber platforms is dubbed the RXD22Ti. It's compatible with .22 LR, .22 WSM, .17 HMR, 4.6mm, and 5.7x28mm. Featuring Dead Air’s Triskelion single-piece PVD-coated mono-core, the RXD22Ti is 3-D printed with high-tech materials for enhanced strength, lighter weight, and simplified maintenance.

With sophisticated acoustic engineering, shooters can expect optimal sound suppression in a remarkably small package. Add to that Dead Air Silencers’ unique Gas Management System for decreased backpressure and ejection port noise, and you have a small-caliber suppressor that provides an unequaled shooting experience.

Interestingly, the RXD22Ti also offers the all-new XRF rimfire muzzle brake. This is a tapered muzzle device compatible with numerous platforms (from ½-28 and M10x1), allowing the shooter to use the RXD22Ti on multiple firearms while delivering a secure lockup. The XRF brake also helps capture lead before it enters the suppressor core, making for easy cleanup.

Yes, it's simple to remove the RXD22Ti for maintenance or to put it on a different gun. The RXD22Ti’s Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) tool features mean that the suppressor and subcomponents will accommodate the most common, non-proprietary tools for removal and component disassembly.

There are no barrel length restrictions with RXD22Ti. The suppressor boasts a muzzle energy rating of 850 ft/lbs and is rated full-auto in .22 LR (in accordance with ATF regulations) and semi-auto in .17 HMR, .22 WSM, and 5.7x28mm. The RXD22Ti suppressor is available with a Black or Burnt Bronze high-temperature Cerakote exterior finish.

But what about centerfires? That's where the RXD30Ti, built for a variety of hard-hitting .30-caliber cartridges, comes in. It's caliber-rated for 6.5 PRC, 7 PRC, and up to .300 PRC.It offers an integrated E-Brake feature makes that devours up to 40 percent of the perceived recoil (when compared to a bare muzzle). Additional benefits of the RXD30Ti include reduced muzzle flash, courtesy of the RXD front cap, and minimized blast baffle erosion thanks to a new Direct Thread Brake Mount. MSRP for the RXD22Ti $499. MSRP for the RXD30Ti is $1099. Visit DeadAirSilencers.com
