The ladies of A Girl & A Gun are hosting a shooting festival October 26 th to 30 th at the Rockcastle Shooting Center in Kentucky. The Multigun Fall Festival brings together women who love the shooting sports and some sisterly competition. The Fall Festival will feature two days of attendee matches, eight stages, firearm clinics, meet-and-greet with sponsors, retail village, product demonstrations and on-site childcare because, moms, you’re getting a chance to shoot too! Clinic day will be held on the 26th, Multigun Fall Festival match days are the 28th to the 29th, with the awards ceremony being held at day’s end on the 29th. October 30th is an optional adventure day. Be sure to arrive early on clinic and match days—slots are expected to fill fast!

The Multigun Fall Festival’s Range Master will be Nancy Oberman. Oberman is the Chief Instructor and the Women’s Program Coordinator at the Virginia Defensive Firearms Institute. She is uniquely qualified with nearly four decades of experience in law enforcement. She is a trainer and professor on a variety of armed and unarmed disciplines. She’s been spotted at the most challenging matches in the country ever since her first IDPA match in 1995. Her most recent love affair? 3-Gun.

Rockcastle Shooting Center is located on Park Mammoth Resort. The Shooting Center offers a sporting clay course, rifle ranges, numerous pistol ranges, an archery course, a permanent cowboy action shooting town (learn about that amazing sport here), and more. Rockcastle Shooting Center has also been named as an official local qualifying range for American Marksman, a nationwide target shooting competition for amateurs being produced by the owners of Outdoor Channel and Sportsman Channel.

Park Mammoth Resort has a regulation 18-hole golf course, a winery and wine tasting room, The Lookout Restaurant and the comfortable lodging you’d expect from a first-class resort.

If you want the fun to continue once the Fall Festival is over, take a quick ride on I-65 to Nashville, Tennessee. The Music City is just over an hour away from the Festival’s location, and the list of things to do there is endless. Visit the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, take a tour of Music Row, take a walk through their Centennial Park and visit the Parthenon, and dine at many delicious and original restaurants.

The Multigun Fall Festival is a time for women shooters to come together and strengthen the sisterly bond, push their athletic limits, and make life-long friends doing the sport you love most.
