If you're a reader of NRA Family, you already know the incredible dedication that the MidwayUSA Foundation has shown to the future of the shooting sports. Supporting junior shooters is a reward all its own, but just in case you need a little more, the MidwayUSA Foundation has quite a September in store! Throughout September 2024, not only will the Foundation match your donations to youth shooting teams and organizations, the organization will consider any donation of $20 and up your entry into a sweepstakes. Dubbed the MidwayUSA Foundation 2024 Hometown Challenge, the sweepstakes features over 100 prizes. What's more, you can choose where your donated dollars go.

The prizes include a gun safe from SA Consumer Products, firearms, ammo, gear, optics and more. There's a Walther Hammerli Tac R1 22C, multiple products from Walker’s, including headsets, muffs and carbine glasses, as well as great products from Big Frig and so many other outdoor industry products from quality companies. Each of these sponsors, plus many others, has committed to supporting MidwayUSA Foundation for several years. Prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of the event.

“Youth shooting athletes and coaches can really connect with community members by offering supporters the chance to win a great prize just by contributing a $20 donation to their youth shooting team’s endowment,” said MidwayUSA Foundation Executive Director, G. Scott Reynolds.

The MidwayUSA Foundation's generosity doesn't stop with a possible sweepstakes prize, either. Youth shooting teams that earn the most donation dollars in September can win additional endowment dollars. The top five fundraising teams will be awarded as follows:

1st: $15,000

2nd: $12,500

3rd: $10,000

4th: $ 7,500

5th: $ 5,000

Furthermore, each junior's shooting team that receives Hometown Challenge dollars will be entered to win $1,000 in a random draw. Thirty teams will be drawn. Every endowment dollar grows a team’s annual cash grant, which is crucial in covering shooting team expenses. Learn more about this great fundraiser at https://www.midwayusafoundation.org/htc/.
