As the the founding partner of Orion Entertainment, Chris Dorsey revolutionized the way people enjoy the outdoor sports on TV, but he's not done finding ways to educate and entertain NRA Families. For the second year running, Outdoor Channel is showcasing Dorsey's hottest new television show, Sporting Classics With Chris Dorsey, and we suspect it's about to become your new favorite outdoor show. Whether's a rainy day or a family movie event, you can catch it on on Outdoor Channel Saturdays at 12:30 pm EDT.

Dorsey, a wildlife biologist and possibly one of the most prolific outdoor writers of our era, knows that of which he speaks. Having taken all 29 huntable North American big game species, the African "Deadly Seven" game species and the seven-species Turkey World Slam, he's also called the "brand father" of outdoor television with 55 separate series under his belt. Sporting Classics With Chris Dorsey is, in many ways, the crown jewel of Dorsey's oeuvre.

This season, viewers can expect to see the Sporting Classics magazine creed – “The Heritage, The Romance, The Art of Hunting and Fishing”– brought to life for a new audience. From mule deer to Cape buffalo, Dorsey and a few close friends explore the magic of opening day with tips, tactics and conservation news you need to know. For more information about the Sporting Classics with Chris Dorsey on Outdoor Channel, visit: www.outdoorchannel.com.
