Many people use shotguns for home defense, and the 20 gauge is a great option, but with the limited choice of buttstock offerings the 12 gauge seemed to outshine it. Thanks to the Lucy Adapter, a 20-gauge Remington 870 has an increased number of buttstock options. All you have to do is bolt the adapter to the back of the shotgun, which allows a 12-gauge stock to bolt to the adapter. The Lucy Adapter is made of cast steel with a parkerized finish, and is now available to purchase with an MSRP of $20.
