Henry Repeating Arms may be most famous for its classic lever-action rifles, but the company is launching an all-new platform for 2023: a pistol-caliber carbine called the Homesteader. This trim, semi-automatic rifle chambered in 9mm Luger may be a total departure from Henry's catalog, but it's already putting the "fun" in "functional."

In this cool video from the 2023 SHOT Show, American Rifleman editor Evan Brune introduces this very cool new gun, designed to be your do-all shooter. With its ambidextrous charging handle and thumb safety, the rifle is designed for simple, intuitive shooting. What's more, the slide comes cut for optics and the 16.5" barrel is threaded for a suppressor (should you want to install one). The MSRP is $928; for more information, visit HenryUSA.com.
