Here's a rimfire pistol built to keep you shooting all day for less money! Smith & Wesson's all-new M&P22X, chambered in .22 Long Rifle, lets you shoot those less-expensive .22-caliber rounds through a pistol that has all the features of a firearm designed for serious defense. Its superior ergonomics have gifted the shooter with a slim grip, low recoil, and a crisp, hammer-fired trigger for a superior shooting experience. The two included 20-round magazine ensures more time on the trigger and less reloading.
The M&P22X is built on a full-size frame, and weighs in at just a touch over a pound. That means that the already-negligible recoil of the .22 will virtually disappear. Its 7.25" overall length includes a 4.1" barrel, which is topped with a Picatinny-style rail.
The pistol comes from the factory with a fiber Hi-Viz LiteWave H3 front sight and black serrated square-notch rear sight. Speaking of those fiber sights, the M&P 22X comes complete with additional red, white, and green fiber optics, enabling users to customize their preference. Prefer a reflex sight? It's also optics-ready, with a pre-cut slide.
In addition to the included two 20-round magazines (there's also a 10-round-capacity model for compliance with certain states), this pistol includes a replacement tool. The M&P22X is also suppressor capable and comes with ½ x 28 thread adaptor and wrench out of the box. It has a reversible magazine catch and ambidextrous manual thumb safety.
