Ever wondered what it would look like if you were to marry modern airgun technology to the ancient art of archery? Wonder no more with Hatsan's latest pre-charged pneumatic air rifle: the Harpoon. But don't worry, you don't have to be called Ishmael to get the most out of your Harpoon, nor are there any white whales necessary! The Harpoon was created to be used with regular commercial crossbow bolts, so it doesn't need special projectiles. It's capable of sending those crossbow bolts downrange at a shocking 600 feet per second (FPS) and produces an even more remarkable 325 ft-lbs of energy, so you can take game at longer distances than ever before.

Hatsan's Harpoon isn't the first air rifle/archery chimera on the market. However, it is definitely among the coolest-looking, with its bullpup design. (All that means is that the action is located behind the trigger, making the overall length of the gun much shorter than you'd see with a traditional rifle design.) With a total length of 39 inches It also boasts a pretty tacti-cool synthetic pistol-grip stock that's textured for all-weather use, and an elevation-adjustable cheek rest and buttpad. All of the above renders the Harpoon a very compact, easy-to-carry and user-adjustable little shooter despite its 9-pound weight.

You can slide a 2219 size aluminum or carbon-fiber arrow with a 0.30" inner diameter over the hollow guide rod that that serves as the gun's barrel. Each 250 BAR (3625 PSI) fill of the onboard 500cc air tank provides 10 high-powered shots. A long combination optics rail provides plenty of space for mounting the included flip up TruGlo fiber optic sights or one's favorite crossbow scope. The rail will accommodate both 11mm dovetail and Picatinny/Weaver mounts. The barrel cover features two mounted arrow holders that allow storage for extra ammo with no added bulk.
