Spring has sprung, and so too has your Spring 2024 NRA Club Connection magazine! This year has already been so exciting that it's hard to believe we're only one season in, but your NRA Club Connection has you covered.

This issue highlights competitive shooting, creating a club that fosters competitive shooting and NRA's coverage of competitive shooting ...  you could say we're feeling a little competitive. We start off with an introduction to Shooting Sports USA, which is both a website that's updated daily and a free digital magazine. (Want to subscribe? Just click here!)

We're also spotlighting an Indiana gun club that runs a weekly sanctioned NRA Pistol League, in which they'll explain exactly what they did and how they did it ... your club could follow in their footsteps. You'll hear from Anne Mauro, who heads University of Maryland's clay target team, with her unique insights into creating female-friendly events. Don't miss the tale of the Dacotah Territory Muzzle Loaders (those are not typos), a 40-year institution that hearkens back not to the Civil War or the American Revolution, but to the days of fur-trappers and mountain men.

You'll be pleased to note that we've archived previous issues of NRA Club Connection, so you can catch up on anything you've missed, any time. You can also elect to click here if you like, to be added to our NRA Club Connection mailing list. (Your NRA does not disclose readers' contact information.)

Our grassroots network of affiliated organizations is what keeps the NRA in the forefront of community action to benefit the American public. We honor the hard work and efforts being done at the state and local levels to continue to secure our Second Amendment Freedoms. Click here to enjoy, and from all of us here at NRA, happy reading!
