The Smith & Wesson M&P Shield M2.0 was one of the most wildly popular pistols the year it was introduced, and for good reason: Smith & Wesson's legendary reliability combined with the feature-rich platform perfect for concealed carry. The only quibble anyone had was that they'd like a little more Smith & Wesson in their Smith & Wesson...and what we mean by that is more ammo capacity. However, when your design is conscribed by the need for concealability, your engineers are going to have to get clever.

In this terrific video review hosted by American Rifleman's Evan Brune, you'll learn how Smith added more ammunition capacity, more features and more fun to the Shield. This new 2021 version, dubbed the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield Plus, might just be the everyday carry (EDC) gun you've been waiting for. For more information, visit Smith-Wesson.com.
