All-New 2022: EAA Girsan MCP 35 Semi-Auto Pistol

Picking up the mantle of the Browning Hi-Power for a new generation.

Although the Browning Hi-Power may not have made our list of the top three guns ever invented by John Moses Browning, it certainly makes the top five of all time! The company that bears Browning's name announced in 2018 that they would cease production of this iconic semi-automatic handgun, but others stepped up to pick up the mantle. Most recently, EAA (European American Armory) introduced its Girsan MCP 35 pistol, a Turkish-made replica of Browning's design. Unlike the original Hi Powers, these Girsan MC P35 pistols ship with a single 15-round magazine made by Mec-Gar of Italy, which gives owners two extra rounds of 9 mm Luger over the traditional Hi Power magazine. In this terrific video from American Rifleman's Evan Brune, you'll see why the EAA Girsan MCP deserves to fill the Hi-Power's shoes. EAACorp.com
