Video Review: Hi-Point 1095TS 10mm Carbine

Hi-Point Firearms has always epitomized the idea of the "working man's gun" (although it would apply just as well to the distaff side of the equation) with firearms built in America from 100 percent American parts. So it's no surprise that their brand-new 1095TS 10mm carbine has an MSRP of only $400 or so—of course, varying options and dealer sales may move that needle up or down a bit.

Boasting the same blowback-operated striker-fired technology as Hi-Point's 10mm semi-auto handgun, this pistol-caliber carbine produces performance at the muzzle and the target far superior to that which can be obtained with a handgun. A 10-round single-stack magazine and 17 1/2-inch barrel keep this little rifle neat, nimble and easy to use. In this video, American Hunter's Adam Heggenstaller walks you through the desirable qualities of this up-and-coming American classic.
