In the world of hunting dogs, hunters are accustomed to canines that are capable of extraordinary things, with training of course. According to komonews.com, a black lab named Eclipse-a breed well-known for its hunting prowess and smarts-has become so urbanized that she takes the bus to the dog park by herself.

The two-year old pup is known by all the bus drivers in Belltown, and she warms the hearts of all the bus-goers who meet her, sitting in a seat near the window to make sure she gets off at the right stop. No one had seen her owner, and thought she was alone. It turns out that Eclipse does have an owner, Jeff Young, who told Komonews.com that she visits the dog park a few times a week, sometimes accompanied by him.

"She's been here the last two years, so she's been urbanized, totally. She's a bus-riding, sidewalk-walking dog," he said. "Probably once a week I get a phone call. 'Hi. I have your dog Eclipse here on 3rd and Bell,'" he recounted. "I have to tell them, 'no. She's fine.' She knows shat she's doing."

Let's just hope this story doesn't give any hunting dogs ideas about going hunting without us…
