New Guns 2025: Rost Martin RM1S

This scaled-down version of Rost Martin's flagship RM1C pistol is CCW-friendly.

Rost Martin is an up-and-coming brand, with several recent firearm launches. The latest for 2025 is its RM1S, which is a compact, concealed-carry (CCW) friendly semi-automatic pistol. Based on Rost Martin's flagship RM1C, this scaled-down version has a 3.5" barrel, compared to the 4" barrel found on the RM1C.

This downsizing in the overall grip frame requires a slightly shorter magazine to compensate, with a magazine capacity of 12 rounds (vice 15 for the RM1C). There are two magazines that come with the RM1S; a flush-fit mag with 12 rounds, and an extended 15-round magazine with a collar. A slight beaver tail on the grip frame allows for a higher hand grip, while the new front index finger contouring enables the shooter to “drive” the pistol for optimal accuracy and control.

How does it ride? The flat-faced trigger offers a remarkably short reset and clean, crisp break, with a trigger pull weight of under 5 lbs. Rost Martin also further increased the amount of grip texturing on the RM1S, allowing for improved control, accuracy, and comfort for the smaller carry platform. In this great video from our friends at American Rifleman, you'll learn more about Rost Martin's RM1S. MSRP $469; www.RostMartin.com
