Leupold has once again "grabbed the brass ring" with its new-for-2025 VX-6HD Gen 2 riflescope! Of course, Leupold has been crafting top-end riflescopes for decades, and of course Leupold's classic golden-ring branding is nearly as old. But the metaphor of an old-school carousel is so tempting, and that's because Leupold has a standout winner with this second-gen VX-6HD. What's new? Well, there's a new style of turret dial, which only requires that you manipulate the integrated throw lever to remove and reset. Yes, you can leave the traditional Allen or Torx screws in your toolkit for some other project!

That's not the only integral throw lever; another is present so you can adjust the zoom. The scope also boasts an illuminated reticle, and competition-grade adjustments similar to those found in the Mark series, all combined to make the VX-6HD Gen 2 a "brass ring" for long-range shooters and hunters. There are several models in the line, with MSRPs from $2,199 to $2,699; Leupold.com
