Reporting live from the National Shooting Sports Foundation's SHOT Show, Shooting Sports USA's John Parker takes Kahles' new-for-2025 K540i riflescope for a spin on the range. Created for PRS (precision rifle shooting), this new optic is a 5-40X 56mm scope with a revolutionary optical design that boasts an incredible 40% wider field of view (compared to Kahles' previous K525i at 25X magnification).

In fact, Kahles promises that the K540i will give perfect optical performance with an 8X zoom over the entire adjustment range. It has an exceptionally comfortable eyebox, even at full 40X magnification!

The optic also provides a patented, integrated parallax adjustment in the elevation turret, and windage adjustments are protected by the built-in Twist Guard protection. The illuminated reticle sits in the first focal plane, and both windage and elevation adjustments offer 160 clicks per rotation. It's scheduled to start shipping in February 2025.
