As Shooting Illustrated's Kevin Creighton points out, we armed citizens seem to have a bit of a blind spot when it comes to belts. This is especially true for those of us who are new to concealed carry (CCW). It's common for new shooters to spend a great deal of time (and yes, sometimes money) figuring out what defensive handgun is right for them. Ammo and holster selection then get some attention. But what about the belt from which you intend to hang that holster and handgun? We're talking up to 2 lbs. of weight that needs to be distributed over your waist without gapping or sagging. That's why Creighton made this great video explaining what you need to be looking for (and why) ... and you'll learn it all in under a minute!
