If you've been looking for a reliable, easy-to-shoot semi-auto (and dealing with sticker shock), you'll be excited to watch this video review courtesy of American Rifleman's Mark Keefe, in which he goes over the various advantages of Taurus' new G3 9mm striker-fired pistol. Taurus, which is based in Brazil, has long been known for producing great guns at great prices, and the G3 is no exception with an MSRP of $350 (keep in mind, customers can probably find it at lower prices at their local dealers). This polymer-framed pistol isn't just another budget-friendly entry into an already crowded market; as Keefe explains, this full-size handgun offers real innovations in safety and ergonomics--including a terrific little "finger pad" along the gun's frame to help teach and enforce Rule 2 (ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger until you are on target and ready to fire).
