Remington Ammunition is working hard for waterfowlers with its new-for-2025 Nitro Steel Duplex shotshells. The engineering involved to create loads that deliver ethical shots at a distance can't be overstated, but Nitro Steel Duplex manages the task with a combination of shot, providing dense patterns of smaller shot for closer ranges and larger shots that can hit hard at longer ranges.

Part of what makes this product different is its unique Duplex shot load, which is composed of a combination of two shot sizes for deadly patterns at all ranges. All that power is boosted by a super tough and versatile four-petal shot cup, which protects barrels and allows exceptional performance across a wide range of choke designs. With Nitro velocity, these shotshells provide maximum speed for true magnum-blended steel payloads, delivering outstanding power and performance. The Premier hull even wears a high base and drab hull to minimize reflection in the blind.

"Remington Duplex shells are loaded with two different sizes of steel shot for ultimate performance at all ranges," said Remington Ammunition Shotshell Product Line Manager Ronnie Evans. "The blended, high-velocity magnum steel payload gives dense patterns with the smaller shot size close up, while the larger shot hits hard close and maintains energy at longer ranges.” There are four loads in the line, all of which retail for $42.99/box of 25.
