Leupold's Project Hunt is back for 2025! This unique contest has been running since 2022, offering American hunters an opportunity to have their next hunt professionally filmed and featured on Leupold’s digital platforms.

Project Hunt 2025 is accepting entries from June 2 through June 22, 2025. Two winners—one from the East and one from the West—will be selected to have their hunt professionally filmed by and produced by the same teams that create the wonderful hunting videos you see on television and online platforms. Of course, given that Leupold is an industry leader in optics, winners will also receive a complete Leupold optics kit.

The application process requires that you, the applicant, have a vision for your hunt. It's a question of what, where, and why: You'll need to detail what game you're pursuing, where in the nation you plan to hunt (East or West), and why your story is unique. You'll need to create a two-minute video explaining why Leupold should choose your project for filming. Leupold will announce the two winners in early August 2025, and their hunts will be filmed later in the year. Final films will debut on Leupold’s YouTube and social media channels in 2026.

If you'd like to review the films Leupold has created with past winners, check out the company's YouTube playlist here.

“You plan the trip. You lead the hunt. We’ll send a filmmaker to capture the highs, the lows, and everything in between,” said Tim Lesser, Vice President of Product Development & Marketing at Leupold & Stevens, Inc. “Whether it’s a once-in-a-lifetime tag or a generational hunt on the family farm, we’re after stories that are relentless, real, and unforgettable.” Entries must be submitted at Leupold.com/ProjectHunt. A complete list of contest rules can be found at Leupold.com/ProjectHunt-Official-Rules.
