If you were at the NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Atlanta this year (and if you weren't, we hope you'll come visit us in Houston, Texas next year!), you already know that many firearms and gear manufacturers debut new products at the show. One of the most exciting brand-new announcements was Mossberg's 990 Aftershock.
It's not a shotgun--it's classified as a "firearm"--but it contains the innards of the Mossberg 940 Tactical. It's a compact, defensive firearm with features that belie its size. Available in 12-gauge only at this time, there are three separate models. There's one with a 14.75" barrel, one with an 18.5" barrel, and one that comes equipped with a Lasersaddle. The prices range from $1,120 to $1,302 depending upon model chosen.
In this great video from our friends at Shooting Illustrated, you'll get a quick rundown on this hot new gun ... and stay tuned, because we hope to have a more thorough review for our readers very soon!
