Going out into the woods long before sunrise, sitting as still as possible for hours on end...to some people, it may sound as if sleeping in might be a better use of their time than heading out to go turkey hunting. The truth is that turkey hunting is absolutely thrilling: There's nothing like watching the oily rainbow sheen of a tom turkey's feathers as the first morning's light refracts from its fan, nor the bated-breath anticipation of hoping it won't notice the movement as you slowly bring your shotgun to bear. It can be difficult to explain in words, so that's why we're bringing you this video of teenage Jackson Rickwalder taking an Oklahoma thunder chicken with Osceola Outdoors, courtesy of our friends at American Hunter. Enjoy!
