The Colt's Manufacturing Detective Special Revolver was in continuous production from 1927 through the 1990s, establishing itself as one of the most easily recognizable guns in circulation. In this video, American Rifleman's Mark Keefe walks you through the fascinating history of one of the world's most famous firearms.
