The National Rifle Association of America is pleased to announce the return of our in-person NRA Range Development & Operations Conference in Denver, Colorado on July 31 – August 1, 2024. This conference is designed to educate potential and current range owners and operators in identifying possible issues associated with range development, environmental concerns and safety. Attendees will receive a multidisciplinary perspective on major topics such as:

  • Business Planning
  • EPA Lead Standards
  • Construction
  • Sound Abatement
  • ADA Compliance
  • Ventilation
  • Funding/Grants
  • NRA Programs
  • Training Opportunities

“The NRA has long supported the development, construction and operation of public and private ranges in America,” said Joseph P. DeBergalis, Jr., Executive Director of NRA General Operations. “The future of the shooting sports, target shooting and defensive training depends on the availability of ranges where gunowners can learn and compete. NRA encourages all current and prospective range operators to join us in Denver for this conference to learn best practices on range development and management.”

Presentations will be given by our nation’s top experts on range development. The ultimate goal of the Range Development & Operations Conference is to give attendees a forum to share their knowledge, and ensure the public has safe and convenient places to shoot in order to exercise their Second Amendment rights.

Registration for the conference is $500, which includes all conference materials as well as a digital copy of the NRA Range Source Book.
