Video: Ruger LCP II Pistol

When Ruger introduced its LCP back in 2008, it essentially came to define the platform of modern pocket pistols. Small, lightweight, eminently concealable, the .380-caliber semi-auto has become a standby for an incredible 1.5 million customers since its release. As revolutionary as it was, the original LCP wasn't perfect: It had a long, onerous trigger pull and some of the ergonomics weren't as user-friendly as they could be. Ruger has set out to take the class-defining Ruger LCP and make it best in class with their newest offering, the Ruger LCP II. With usable sights, a crisper trigger pull, an empty magazine hold-open function and more, the LCP II offers the consumer more while sacrificing nothing. American Rifleman's Joe Kurtenbach explores just what the new LCP II has to offer in this video.
