For the last 72 years, Hodgdon Powder Company has been helping shooters "reload," which is essentially just a fancy way to describe recycling your brass to "make your own" ammunition. In the beginning, founder Bruce Hodgdon used to travel around the country with various partners (like Hornady, Nosler, RCBS and others) to teach his end users how to reload by hosting seminars. It was a terrific idea then, and it's just as terrific an idea now...which is why Hodgdon is bringing back the Reloading Roadshow, a training seminar to teach consumers to reload, coming to local Hodgdon dealers for 2019.

“Grandad started this concept over 50 years ago, personally traveling around the country to show consumers how to reload,” said Chris Hodgdon. “I think he would be proud to see his family and his company keeping this tradition alive.”

Although the way we disseminate information has changed in the last seven decades, there's just something about the efficacy of hands-on, in-person training that no video can match. So as long as Hodgdon keeps kickin' it old school, they'll continue to collaborate with a lot of their original manufacturing partners, but will also keep it fresh by partnering with Dillon Precision, Frankford Arsenal and Lee. The company will also partner with local Hodgdon dealers and bring in NRA-certified reloading experts to train consumers on reloading and can tailor courses to metallic handgun or rifle, or even shotshell reloading if needed.
