Video Review: Mossberg MMR Carbine

The popularity of the AR-15 style rifle seems to just continue to grow over time, and no wonder: The AR-15 is highly versatile, highly customizable, easy to use and offers low recoil. They're terrific for families because they're generally adjustable for length with the simple click of a button, and also great for beginners. So far, the main hurdles to ownership seem to have been that their popularity often makes them difficult to get hold of...and that they tend to represent a fairly substantial initial monetary investment. However, the folks at Mossberg have recently introduced their Modern Mossberg Rifle (MMR) in a variety of configurations...and they come in at under $1,000 (and potentially, quite a bit under). This allows the user the comfort of a well-built, reliable rifle made by a trusted manufacturer at a price point that won't send you into sticker shock.
